Chip Introduction
The SS6323H is a three-phase brushless DC motor driver. They integrated three half-bridges, including six N-channel power MOS FETs, as well as a pre-driver and gate drive power supply. The SS6323H provides enable and PWM inputs for each 1/2-H bridge.
The SS6323H is capable of continuously delivering 2A of drive current (depending on temperature and PCB conditions) with a peak current protection threshold of 7A. It uses an internal charge pump to generate the gate drive supply voltage for the high-side MOSFETs and uses trickle charge circuitry to maintain sufficient gate drive voltage to operate at 100% duty cycle. Integrated safety features include thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and overcurrent protection (OCP).
The SS6323H is available in a 24-pin 3mmx3mm QFN package with an exposed heat sink.
